When looking through the blogs, one that stood out is Faith’s
blog. It has all the looks of an “A” blog. A background personalized creative
title, and pictures that drew the eye to each individual blog post. What really
impressed me was the quality of each of the blogs. It was impressive to see the
variation in every blog. The safari posts were informative and succinct, while
the longer blogs seemed to have no trouble capturing the interest of a reader
throughout the whole post. She clearly understood what each assignment meant, and
was familiar with what the professor expected of her. Faith’s blog was the embodiment
of an “A” blog.
The second blog that struck me as an “A” is Taylor Rispoli’s
blog. It had the most eye catching title, and although at first I glanced at it
moving onto the blogs of students in my class. I eventually returned to it,
ignoring my bias and becoming intrigued with the title. I reading the first
blog post impressed me almost instantly. She has a very distinct voice; it
seemed as if she was just casually talking to a friend. The warmth she exuded
through her writing felt honest and genuine, and it was easy to read on. With no
shortage of eye-catching titles, and a wealth of great ideas, I think she may
do this for fun! It was the best blog, in terms of literature, I read thus far.
Many of the bloggers seemed to play the humble card when it
came to judging their peers. I did not. I enjoy analyzing others and there was
certainly plenty of quality blogs. Each one had a distinctive voice, and their
personal interpretations of the assignments, which is always fun to explore. Although
they had some stiff competition, these two stood apart, and truly earned an “A”
from me.
